Brief description of files available for download
For installation, you need one of these kernels + the initrd-kirkwood.cpio file. on the bootable vfat partition of the micro sd card.
install/vga/uzImage.bin
Kernel image for starting installer. Built with console=tty0. You get boot messages on the vga monitor attached to the board.
install/ttyWMT0/uzImage.bin
Kernel image for starting installer. Built with console=ttyWMT0. You get boot messages on the serial port.
initrd-kirkwood.cpio.gz
Download, gunzip and keep on the bootable vfat partition along with the kernel uzImage.bin you chose.
Once the installation is done on /dev/mmcblk0p2, use one of these to replace the kernel used in the install step, for booting Slackware.
boot/vga/uzImage.bin
Kernel image for booting with Slackware installed on /dev/mmcblk0p2. Built with console=tty0, you get boot messages on VGA monitor attached to the board.
boot/ttyWMT0/uzImage.bin
Kernel image for booting with Slackware installed on /dev/mmcblk0p2. Built with console=ttyWMT0, you get boot messages on the serial port.
